Midnight Saga
Book 1
Grant lapped at the blood, closing his eyes as he savored the taste, the warmth. A shiver ran through his body. He looked at her, his gaze intense. Yes, after all these years, she was the one. She would be his mate. He felt an inexplicable connection to her, a surge of emotions he hadn't felt since he was a child.
He watched her look up at him, tears in her eyes, and a wave of unexpected empathy washed over him. He felt sorry for her. He wanted to comfort her, to unchain her from the wall and hold her close. What was happening to him? He was a vampire, a predator who killed for pleasure.
He took a step back, his mind reeling. There were other forces at work here, something he didn't understand. But one thing he knew for sure: she would be his.
Can Grant fight the human emotions Kelly brings out in him? Can he control his hunger and hold back from draining her completely? Will the lure of her blood change him into something else? Will an ancient prophecy be fulfilled? Can they escape the hunters and witches?

Kelly cried, looking at the statue of Grant. How could she raise their baby alone? She walked around the statue, tears of blood streaming down her face and neck. Sinking onto the couch, she rubbed her ever-growing baby bump, her heart aching. She closed her eyes, lost in memories of their short time together.
Suddenly, a noise on the porch startled her. She rushed to the door and waited as a hooded figure entered. Kelly grabbed the hood, pulling it off. The woman smiled at her.
"Well, there you are!" she exclaimed, raising a glowing hand, ready to subdue Kelly.
Kelly snarled, her fangs extending. "I don't think so. We're hungry!" She lunged, sinking her teeth into the witch's neck.
Warm blood flowed down her throat, bringing a moment of savage satisfaction.
Can Grant and Kelly keep their humanity and save their baby? Can they fight off the witches and deadly hunters?
Join the fight, as vampires, hunters, and witches battle it out. There will be blood, death, and salvation.
